Understanding futures.
Shaping organisations.
Most organisations are planning for a future that won't arrive in the form they expect. I help teams and leaders work through several possible futures using methods from futures research: the Futures Workshop, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Development. Plus LEGO® Serious Play® where thinking needs hands.
Why futures, plural?
In futures research, we write "futures" in the plural, not out of academic habit. Building your strategy on a single forecast is a bet you make without knowing it. Working with several possible futures is preparation for the one nobody saw coming. That is what I work on with organisations.
